With 2 set bookings and lots of enquiries Pete and I went home to a well deserved take-away and bottle of wine! We look forward to working with some lovely couples and having fun with them.

Somerset Wedding Wishes Handing cheque over to H4H
Monday, February 7th, 2011Somerset Wedding Wishes held their first Wedding Fayre in December at Burrow Bridge, a unique event as all profit from the day went to charity.
There were over 20 exhibitors covering bridal wear, make up, hairdressing, photography, flowers, transport, cakes, lingerie, chair covers, decorations and balloons etc. which were all supported by well over 80 visitors.
With a licensed bar, food and hog roast plus a raffle of prizes donated by various local businesses throughout the area there was something for everybody throughout the whole day
There were two fashion shows featuring Russian Bridal Couture Designer “Alla Sellick”, ”The Silk Collection” from White Rose and the “Phil Collins 2011 Collection”.
The top raffle prize was a Phil Collins dress which the designer himself presented to the lucky winner Amy Corrigan who gets married later this year.
Pictured here are some of the members of Somerset Wedding Wishes who met up with Richard Lupton from Help For Heroes on Sunday 6th Feb to receive the £746 raised on the day.

We are busy helping to organise a Wedding Fair on 5th December at the Coronation Hall in Burrowbridge. You will get a chance to meet the wedding experts, and be entered into a fabulous prize draw. The 1st prize is for a designer wedding dress by Phil Collins.

A huge big Thank You to everyone we met on Sunday. It was lovely to chat with you about your forthcoming weddings. I get so excited for the Brides-to-be as it is the best time of their lives even though there is so much organising to do!
Wedding fairs are the perfect opportunity for couples to meet different suppliers and chat about what they are offering. It helps with all the planning and budgeting that is inevitable! It is always best to decide what is the most important part of the wedding to you personally. For some it’s the venue, for some it’s the dress, for others it’s the wedding album. As Pete and I say “It’s your special day – the photos we take, are your memories for the future!”
