Pete and I feel it is important to go on membership training days. We are always striving to improve and offer only the best to our clients! It’s a great way to chat with fellow photographers and exchange tips etc and it stops us getting stuck in a rut!

TAKING PHOTOS OF BABIES AND CHILDREN
Tuesday, October 12th, 2010They always say never work with animals and children! Well I haven’t tried animals, but I love working with children – even when you don’t know what to expect! Children are very expressive and you know exactly what they are thinking!
Sometimes it is just impossible to get any ‘good’ images and it really is not worth upsetting the child just to get ‘that perfect shot’. I always suggest they come back to try again another time. It takes a while for children to get used to a strange woman crawling around on all fours, pulling faces, singing and dancing and playing with ‘their’ toys! – Pete’s not much better!
Babies also sense when something is different and you can guarantee that the baby who always laughs will absolutely refuse on the day!
