Lots of people question a photographers pricing especially as the market is being inundated with newcomers who usually know little or nothing about the realities, skills and costs associated with running a photographic business.
A professional photographer will have an assortment of expensive lenses and cameras, lighting equipment, software, marketing and websites, insurances, membership to profes…sional bodies, training etc. to pay for, as well as the everyday household bills, groceries etc. not to mention the hours and hours of preperation,travelling and editing a photographer has. A very good example would be comparing a pair of shoes for your wedding day – would you buy them from Primark or Marks and Spencer (Harrods if you could afford it!) The point is, we all know the quality from Primark wouldnt last long at all and we expect that. the same goes for your photographer. A professional photographer will use professional quality products. Photographers dont try to rip people off, they are trying to make an honest living like everyone else! That is why professional photographers are more expensive!
